Why do flies even exist? How did natural selection not weed out their entire useless species, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
That means they probably have some sort of purpose...Like Dust mites they are everywhere all around you and its their job do eat your dead skin (dust) and keep your surroundings clean xD

They clean up waste, such as dead animals.

What about mosquitoes?
by Anonymous12 years ago
They're not useless at all. They clean up the waste and help in become earth and feed the plants, and thus create oxygen and food while removing carbon dioxide. So without flies, our earth may just be one giant chunk of our own feces with toxic air

Help in become earth? Create oxygen? Lolwat?

Ever heard of decomposing? Or fertilizer?

Technically you could say the same about humans. We aren't exactly making the world a better place. But seriously, I hate flies too.

Most importantly, they're frog food.

When I read "why do flies even exist" my mind instantly went to the ones on jeans. Dirty.

Actually, if we didn't have flies, we'd have a lot of poo and dead animal carcasses laying around everywhere.
