Disaster Movie

Sad is absolutely an opinion in every way. That's like saying "purple should be considered the most beautiful colour".

Well, I think the real life tragedy was much more sad than the movie, because people actually, you know, died.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's actually what makes the film so sad for me, imagining what it was like for those who actually died. I'm not sad for Jack but for the orchestra, that old couple, the woman putting her children to sleep, the sailor who shot himself... It also makes me think of other shipwrecks where even more people died.

But we all know Jack would have fit on the piece of wood, but NO, he decided to float around and die. He was stupid and died. And then I cried about it....

The Titanic ends happily. You see in the pictures right before she dies that she has done all of the things that Jack said she would do when he was dying. She returned the heart necklace to him, and when she dies, she goes back to the happiest time of her life. It's a happy movie if you ask me.

Yeah, and the thousands of people dying was totally cool and everything.

None of you have seen a movie called mysterious skin, or requiem for a dream...Those movies will physically make you hurt.
