At least if a guy says "I love you", it will actually mean something because of it's social taboo. Girls say "I love you" so much, it barely means anything.

It is a lot different actually, because that gum you're sharing has all the shit in it that was stuck in the other persons teeth. if you share the price of food you're not swapping pre-chewed food particles

Ohh God Pple grow up ! It's not that serious. It's just saliva, everyone has some. I have two best friends & we've been friends for so many years that sharing gum is nowhere near the top of the list of things we've shared. I've lived with one of those girls for nearly two months, we share everything. Drinks, food, lollipops, spoons, & YES even gum ! Heck, we used to even take baths together when we were younger. No, I wouldn't have either one spit a mouthful of saliva in my mouth but a little spit-coated gum is nothing when you consider the years you've shared.

I know you've already gotten tons of comments about sharing gum.. but I'm going to have to add to the list. I can agree with everything except for sharing gum. That just sounds nasty.. no matter how many years I may have known a person.. it just grosses me out. I wouldn't even do that with my boyfriend..
