Who said that they didn't mean it? Love can fluctuate. Many people mean it, but the feeling just goes away. People today believe too much in the whole soulmate thing, where there's one person that will love you forever and if someone breaks up with you then it's not the one and you keep looking. I don't believe in soulmates or perfection; there will never be a person that's completely right for you. You can fall in love with anyone, and it can end with anyone.
