Hmm...I agree, BUT what if you're filming a multi-billion-dollar movie where your character isn't allowed to smile? So then you could be earning millions of dollars for not smiling all day...still a day wasted?

Unless you're supposed to be completely in character for the whole shoot, then I'm sure you can smile between scenes.

But what if you're helping children in Africa (the starving ones) and you realize you can't help all of the villages? It's depressing so you don't smile, but at the same time, you didn't waste a day.
