Not Native Americans, if this never became America. I'd imaging whatever they wanted to be called. Cherokee, Shawnee, Sioux, etc.

First, Columbus didn't DISCOVER America. People where here first and he never set foot in the US. Second, Native Americans, not Indians. Indians are from India.

I think what he meant was that had columbus found his real destination, india, and decided to call it america, would the indians be called americans.
