red wine makes my tummy hurt :( but if you mix white wine with ginger ale/sprite/seven up it is delicious

Red wine is sooo much better. It's less perfumey, and has a richer taste. Not that I would know from experience *cough*... I'm underage ;D

I've heard that Americans are moving more towards white wine and away red wine overall... I believe the logic was that white wines are more sweet? ... and since Americans have been growing up with more and more sweets, that they're more used to the white wines and not as used to the red wines.
