-508 Christians who claim theirs is a peaceful god have obviously never read the Bible, which documents the thousands of people God killed and ordered killed. The Christian God is harsh and vengeful. He ordered the first born sons of all Egyptians killed at one point. That's right. God killed babies. He is not the god of peace. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay, just go ahead and click No Way and ignore the facts presented in the Bible...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(AnonE.Mouse): Hate to break it to you, but the Bible isn't really fact.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you freaking retard. it was the pharoah of egypt who ordered all the newborn babies killed. get your facts straight idiot

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God supported it...hahaha wow, you don't know anything.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(AnonE.Mouse): apperently u dont either

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Also, you're not being a very loving religious person by swearing at me. Go pray and abstain from sex like a little loser, why don't you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(AnonE.Mouse): where in the bible does it say you can't fuckin swear? ...no FUCKIN where! this is a something i saw a while ago that i remembered, and I couldnt miss the perfect opportunity. Ah, good times.. BUT. Just saying, he never actually cussed...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Daniel Tosh completely serious. I love him

by Anonymous 13 years ago

er, no, it wasn't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Um, no. God ordered all the first borns to be killed as the last plauge of egypt.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

BECAUSE a message needed to be sent to the egyptians and to Ramases to let the Jews out of slavery. GOD'S PEOPLE WERE IN SLAVERY and the Egyptians were the ones that were punished for this. Make sense? Yes. God people, how ignorant can you get?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

um, actually, it WAS God who ordered the babies to be killed, as punishment to Pharoh who wouldn't let the Israelites go. Sorry, but i'm a 14 year old girl, and i know more about this than you do.

Thank you so much, Anonymous!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(AnonE.Mouse): No worries, that article is hilarious... I love that site.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Me too! I mean, who wouldn't? :)

As the lifeless body slumps to the ground, Moses lights up a cigar. "Well," he quips, "looks like someone bit off more than he could Jew."

(AnonE.Mouse): Likes

by Anonymous 13 years ago

if God is so wrathful, you're screwed. And if you got your facts right you wouldn't appear so stupid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ya God also said he's gonna send all the non-Christians to hell

by Anonymous 13 years ago

False. God loves everyone, HE says HE will accept anyone, if they accept him and live their lives for him.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes God loves everyone and wants them all to be Christians, but those who don't repent will go to hell

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're wrong. It is true, that God will accept whom excepts him, but Atheists and other non-christians don't therefore they will not go to Heaven.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But that was also first testiment god. It seems after the new testiment he chilled out a bit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Stop with the religious flaming already. Jeez.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's not religious flaming, it's a statement of fact.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This post is basically targeting Christians and trying to destroy what they believe in. Don't try to tell me it's not flaming.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It was basically just summing up what's in the Bible. Don't try to tell me it's not true.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're insanely ignorant, I'm done here.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow. You've obviously never read your own holy book, because everything the OP said is true.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thank you for being so logical! Too bad DotCalm isn't...oh well

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If god is willing, but not able, then he is incompetent. If god is able, but not willing, then he is malevolent. If god is both able and willing then whence cometh evil? And if he is neither able or willing then why call him god?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My favorite quote.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

so god 'said' he was going to send all the non-christians to hell? Did he tell you this? Or was it in the bible? Because not every little detail of the bible is correct. This poster needs to get his facts right, btw, because he had a reason for killing the first born son of every egyption.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, so its ok to kill if you have a valid reason? Or if you think the reason is valid? Well in that case, we might as well let all the psychos out of high-security prisons, because I'm sure they have an excuse that, in their minds, is valid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Have you, by any chance heard of capital punishment? Let me fill you in... The American government (or other ones, but it's usually the states that you hear about) decides that they have "a valid reason" to kill someone so they do. In the bible, god kills the first born son of the Egyptians because they held the Jews captive and used them as slaves. And Gid gave them fair warning beforehand.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So what you're saying is having a reason for killing someone excuses it, even when it's so blatantly against what you've commanded your followers to do? And no...It's not your god who says he's sending non-Christians to Hell. It's people who can't accept that people don't agree with them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God was proving a point, the Israelites (not Jews, because Christians didn't exist yet and there was no need for a distinction.) had been captive for, I believe, 400 years. God was setting free the people he chose to serve as his emissaries to the world to spread His message after teaching them a lesson (a harsh lesson) in humility.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So the Bible's not correct now? So which parts aren't correct? The parts that say God and Jesus are real? The parts that tell you not to kill? Or just the parts you decided aren't correct?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(A Person :)): It's not like the bible has been re written by every other king in the past two thousand years or anything... So even if 'god' sent 'prophets' to write his word it's been re done and manipulate for each kings purpose. So no, the bible isn't correct, or credible.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(A Person :)): its not that i dont think the bible isnt correct. all im saying is that its possible that some parts could be wrong. and for the comment below me, I believ God gave us life to see what we would do with it. not so he can perfect us and our society. and some if you people that dont know shit need to stfu :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dude person why do you believe in a God that you only know of because of a couple of scrolls but you dont believe in all the things the book says. Where was this God when Haiti had that freak disaster where is he when little children are getting raped each second? Is it really rational to believe in someone that you are supposed to worship and adore when he lets all that shit happen? And why would anyone make humans with such capability of cruelness and destruction. We are just here, accept that but if you are willing to believe in this almighty being who just sits and watches us suffer our day to day perils then so be it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(valaleeeee!): God can't just waltz on down on Earth. He will come when he is ready, and maybe that tragedy is what he chose for them. Maybe he wanted them in Heaven with him?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Every darn part of the Bible is true! And don't you even dare tell me otherwise! You are just trying to ruin all Christian's hope, so stop! We believe in God. Strongly.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Harry Potter): The Bible has been changed and fiddled with over the course of 2000 years. The Bible isn't the same as it was 2000 years ago.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you have even read the Bible you would see that God is amazing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Read it cover to cover. I still don't believe. Also read the Torah and Qran, none had an effect. Your arguement = failure.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha i feel like that's bs

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's a very good way to back up your statement, but i feel like saying you read all these texts in their entirety is something that would require you to learn the languages, with all the small little intricacies and subtleties in each one (something learned through experience not textbook) to actually appreciate the Torah and the Qur'an, or as you call it, the "Qran" also, if you were to read them, the idea that you actually read through it would indicate that you value knowledge greatly, and any knowledge seeking individual would be moved in some way when reading a sacred text of any culture. Their simply great texts, much like monuments. They're holy to so many people it's enough for anyone to take wonderment in such a powerful text, which doesn't mean believing in it. That sir, is why I feel like it's bullshit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Like i said before. The bible has been re written by every other king in the past two thousand years, so even if prophets of god wrote his word, its been re done and manipulated by every high powered person who didnt agree with what it said, or needed/wanted it to say something else to justify their actions. It's not a credible source.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love your arguments, they make so much sense.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/cruelty/long.html That website displays all of God's cruelty and violence. Have fun kids.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

OK--If u dont believe or whatever, u dont have to write a frickin post about it!!! God just wantes to make Earth a better place, and maybe he did do stuff--TO MAKE IT BETTER pretty much!!! So get ur facts straight!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How is murdering people making it better? If he's so mighty, he could fix them or change their minds. He could get people to get along. Where was he during the Rwandan genocide? Oh, wait. No, I guess that was probably better for the world.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Your+name+(optional)): heh heh, you sorta sound like a character on Death Note =P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Your+name+(optional)): "If he's so mighty, he could fix them or change their minds." God has this thing called 'free will' i dont know if youve heard of it but its something he gave everyone because he loves and trusts us enough to make our own decisions, good or bad

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or he just doesn't exist and we evolved to make our own decisions.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

EXACTLY. I mean, which makes more sense, the Bible or the Theory of Evolution?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The theory of evolution has lots of evidence against it, there is actually more proof that jesus was God's son.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There isn't actually any evidence of a man named jesus being a messiah around two thousand years ago, apart from the bible. which isnt a credible source seing as it has been re written the almost every king in the past two thousand years to justify their actions. You would think if there was an amazing guy who walked on water, healed the sick and was resurected there would have been someone who noted it right? The first scripture of anykind depicting a man called jesus who did these miracles is 400bc. That's like me writting about King aurther like i was there. Just sayin'

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Your+name+(optional)): God let's us make our own decisions and mistakes. Does it make sense for a teacher to give you a test and then stand in front of you and give you all the answers and stop you from putting the wrong answer down?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Your+name+(optional)): Everything happens for a reason! God did all that for A REASON! He let those people die, because they had a purpose in Heaven. Goodness, people.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God Is kind but just

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How is he kind? I've never seen evidence of that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Your+name+(optional)): are you for real? even if you don't believe just a little bit, just think about it. how do you think the world came to be? even if it's not "God" specifically, whoever or whatever happened is pretty damn "kind" for us to be able to walk this earth and live life here. i'm pretty sure since that you're on the website you have a computer. so you're living the good life, am I right? God or who / whatever you believe in let that happen. kind, just, and fair. so just think about it for me please...and thanks...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dude, saying this is just as bad as people shoving religion down other people's throats. This site is for stupid but funny comments, the shit your posting is stale and annoying as hell. If you hate Christianity so much just go and join an Atheist forum somewhere and stay off a site where people could give two flying fucks.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A perfect being cannot be questioned or fully understood by an imperfect being. I think it's funny how ppl who don't believe in him are so obsessed with him.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think it's funny how people who believe in him never question him. How do you know he's perfect if you can't understand him, have never met him, have never seen any proof he even exists? I find it funny how he's the "cause of all good in the world" and he "saves" so many people while millions still live in poverty and millions are murdered. Funny how he lets mass murder slide, but oh no--no, of course he couldn't abandon that one-time alcoholic.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You ask why there is imperfection in the world, do I really need to read you the entire Bible (from the beginning)?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Funny. because every single Christian out there has FOR SURE questioned God. I myself have doubted Him many times. But for some reason, God always comes out on top. And get real. Of course you can't see God, but if you choose to live for Him, you WILL see the good in life. You WILL be able to tell that He is perfect. If you don't, so be it. It's YOUR life and you make the choices. if you don't want eternal life, so be it. and don't go freakin questioning Christians and get over yourself, kay? you don't know much.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't believe in God, but I can see the good in life. I used to believe in God, but then I just stopped. Nothing really changed since then, though. I'm still the same person, and I still experience everything the same way. Why doesn't God help the world or something, if he's so perfect? Why doesn't He help all the starving children in Africa? Or was it part of His "plan" for millions of innocent children to die every day? And that's just one example.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(A Person :)): God is helping the hurt in the world. He's working through thousands of missionaries and organizations throughout the world. Of course there's still suffering in the world, because people aren't perfect and don't always make the right decisions. But we as humans are Gods hands and feet on this world. It's our job to help heal the world, God's there to help when we're ready.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The proof he exists is all around us. Do you really think this world just happened? That just one day it was here? And even if you pull out the big hang theory even you have to understand that before the big bang there was something there that's bigger than all of us, something we can't even begin to fathom.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If God didn't create all this, then who did? Obviously someone or something, but after all this upgraded civilization, don't you think there would be SOMETHING telling us??

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well to stay on topic about the eygpt he freed the Jewish people a slaves

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There are lots of points made in the Bible how God is forgiving and the whole point of Christianity is to confess your sins to God and he will still always love you and he will always forgive you. Those who do not want to be with God for ever-lasting eternity go to hell (not the just non-christians because God would forgive them) The whole Idea of Christianity is to have a relationship with God. You Confess and he forgives. Its not about obeying him or else God will blame you and hate you forever. Its not like that. Our God is that something that you see but something that you feel. God is love, kindness, calmness, happiness, not hate, envy , jealousy. If you have read the Bible you would know that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Gj of not saying the complete story. It's like saying back in the 40's the English,Americans etc killed countless German, japenese, and Italian people and not saying why.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

... another anti-religious post. ALL RELIGIOUS PEOPLE ON AMIRITE, I suggest that we ignore these posts. Obviously the people who post them just want attention. Besides, who spends their time looking for more ways to demean Christianity? They could use their time a bit better, now couldn't they?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

After God flooded the world, he said he wouldn't do anything like that ever again. We're also not puppets. God gave us free will. He's letting us do what we want, and we have to face the consequences.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm sure I've heard in numerous places that everything that happens is part of God's "plan", and that everything happens for a reason, and all that. How is that free will? I haven't read the Bible yet anyway, so I guess I don't really have any credibility, though... :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(A Person :)): Maybe you should pray and talk to God and actually get close to him. He might answer you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

After God flooded the world, he said he wouldn't do anything like that ever again. We're also not puppets. God gave us free will. He's letting us do what we want, and we have to face the consequences.

-joins shitstorm- The Bible was written by humans with all their flaws and biases. Their viewpoint was a lot different back then than it is now. It is quite obvious that is not perfect, and one can even say that some parts were written to justify what went on at the time. The Bible is not a perfect document, and Christianity is not a perfect religion. Now, let me try to explan your argument of God letting people die. It is believed that because of Original Sin (the Creation Story is meant to be symbolic) people are mortal. People die of their own accord, not God's. Because of our nature we are prone to sin, which leads to things like war. God can't save everyone, and we really don't know why He chooses some. (Contd)

It is quite obvious that is not perfect, and one can even say that some parts were written to justify what went on at the time" One of the first things that poped into my head in responce to that is this:"16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebruking, correcting and training in rightousness, 17 so that the man of God maybe thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

I am Muslim and I know that isn't true because the pharo heard a new born boy was going to take over the kingdom. To stop it we ordered the new born boys dead, but his wife finds a boy floating on a river and takes care of him. He ends up taking the hebrew to somewhere. The end

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The bit about killing little peoples also happened with King Herod around the time Jesus was born.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahaha Christians are stupid. Personally if I was a sheep I would be insulted.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't think you've read the bible either.....why would God order thousands of babies to be killed in the hope of one of those to be jesus...HIS SON!!! That was King Herald...the most ruthless leader in all of the lands. May God have pity on your soul

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Herod*

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol. All the butthurt Christians/others who believe in God are hilarious.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

EFF. NO. DOUBLE POST! Credability lost, my apologies. And why he lets some die. We shall find out when Judgement day comes. Also, the Old Testament was not written by Christians. :) And, aren't you just as bad as those who you are judging because you, too, are also interpreting it literally? I respect your decision in religion (or lack there of), but I don't appreciate your bashing (while yes, you are pointing facts out, you are doing it in such a way that you are trying persuede us to think otherwise) of ours. Tolerance is lovely. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The idea that there is a magical being in the sky, makes me feel like someone is trying to convince me the Little Mermaid actually happened. Its a fairy tale, when are people going to stop being so insecure that they can't forgive themselves that they had to make up some imaginary concept so they can sleep at night.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I guess you people that say Christians are stupid are atheists? Go look at the laws of thermodynamics and your "science" is proven wrong

by Anonymous 13 years ago

...What?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nope not an atheist. I think it is stupid that you assume that...more so than Christianity.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well I assumed because people going agains christianityvare usually atheists on this post

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok, people who say this is wrong obviously are Catholic who believe both parts of the bible. The second testament had a loving God, who is who you people seem to remember best. Other religions who read the bible (such as Judaism) only read the first part where there's no Jesus and God was angry and spiteful. If you're going to be upset, then at least consider all the options, please.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The first part where G-d was angry and spiteful? Yeah, He was angry, but He had damn good reasons to be angry. He was also loving. You needa read the Torah a bit better before you say He wasn't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

He had reasons to be angry, yes, but you still admit he was spiteful. Also, it's not like we don't give him good reasons now to be angry. He can be loving, but in the New Testament, he was remembered as an angry God. Besides, I was just trying to show that OP had a point. He was angrier than many people seem to remember him, because we only seem to hear people talk about the wonderful things in the Second Testament.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't really believe in God or anything related to him, but I don't bash other for their beliefs and I don't shove my beliefs down peoples' throats. I think many people need to be more educated about their religion, though, before defending it. :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Seems to be evident on amirite

by Anonymous 13 years ago

u cant hate something u dont believe in

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You can hate the idea of it. And the idea does undoubtedly exist, since other people believe it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well I am not. Don't take it personally I bash anything that is hypocritical not just Christianity. Like its not free will if you are punished for making the wrong choice.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

These novel comments are giving me a headache =/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ummm... well first off they weren't all babies, they were first born the HS took the life of non-Jews of all ages.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have respect for all religions, regardless of how ridiculous and invalid I may think they are. If everyone just accepted the fact that different people will ALWAYS have contrasting views on every aspect of life, then the world would be a very different place. It doesn't matter what beliefs you try to force upon others; you can never change everyone. No religions can be proved or disproved using concrete, scientific evidence, therefore it is pointless to say you have "proof" of you god's existence. Besides, if all you religious people are so sure that your beliefs are right, why do you feel the need to constantly bash on non-believers? Many of your actions seem a bit insecure to me... The basic message here is that everyone should just believe whatever the hell they want and stop arguing about it. Because really, who the fuck cares?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No matter what any of you say, God is still my saviour. He gave my life, a good life, a pure, happy true life. No one can change my mind about that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think you should give yourself some credit; if you have a good, pure, happy life than it's because of you and what you've been doing and who you are, not God.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's because of Him. The Bible told me to. Even if you don't believe in God, you should still read the Bible. It has good advice. And it's not just all telling you to believe in God.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's the problem with a lot of people. They believe that the good things in their life are the results of THEIR actions. We are all sinners and do not deserve ANYTHING. God is the one who shows mercy and blesses us, and, if we choose Him, gives us eternal life with Him.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Amen.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We don't deserve anything? Is that a joke? I don't believe in God, infact I find the idea ridiculous, but I'm kind to my family and everyone I know and i have never hurt anybody and I work hard to my grades and money, so I DESERVE them. I deserve them because of my hard work, not an imaginary man.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Look, If you ant evidence as to God's kindness and love, I ask you to look no further than John 3:16. "For God so loved the world, he have his only begotten son, so that whoever beleives in him shall never perish, but have everlasting life." There you have it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the ppl god killed were sinners that cesevered to die for being the way they were

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hello, Mr. Psychopath. Did you know you'll probably end up in prison? I bet you didn't, you're too crazy and delusional. Have a good day killing "sinners"!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Luna Avril): im not saying what he did is right and right now im sure if i believe in a god. second of all im a girl so im not "Mr. Psychopath." but i do know (according to the bible) that the ppl god killed we're sinners who prob killed others and would have had a death penalty

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God's so racist... Buddha all the way!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How can God be racist if he created everyone? He loves everyone the same, therefore he is not racist.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God did not order or support the killing of babies. AnonE.Mouse, I am so sad for you. Anyone who is that vengeful and hateful obviously lives a very unhappy life.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(your+name+optional) free will. We are not just his puppets. We control our destiny.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. If you don't like peoples beliefs, then you still have to respect them or not many people will tend to like you. On another note, people need to stop arguing. If you don't agree with this post(or anything else such as this) then simply ignore it, because you know what your beliefs are.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Who ever said church wasn't fun? :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm tired of all these posts, stop bashing Christians, you say that they "can't except that some people don't believe in their god" when it clearly seems that half of atheists on this site can't accept that some people do believe in a god! It makes me ashamed to call myself an atheist when it looks like we are a bunch of ignorant people, bitching about how "people are so stupid to believe in a "God"". Let them believe what they believe, its been on the earth for thousands of years, and i don't think it'll go away just because some people call religious people stupid, and point at science as the answer. it may seem ridiculous to some of you, but just let them!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Our God is the God of all things. Love, peace, AND war. He does not do what he does because He is evil or vengeful or anything. Everything that happens in the world does not happen because God says, "they've been bad. I must punish them." No! It happens because of OUR SIN. The only way the world will see peace is if everyone in the world accepts Jesus Christ into their hearts and admits their sins. But that will never happen because there are so many cinics out there! It only takes ONE person to start a war. That is what happened with this post. Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Saviour. He is EVERYONES Saviour even if you don't believe it. He died on a cross for you. Think about that. He had NO idea who any of us are and yet Jesus said to God, his Father, let me go to earth so that Your people may have a chanc to live forever in Your kingdom. God gave His son for us! Would you do that for people you don't know? God did! Because He LOVES US! He wants peace on earth so badly. It hurts H...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If they smeared lambs blood on thier doors (which they were told to but refused) their sons would not be dead. It is THEIR fault. Our God is a loving God. Yes, he even loves ignorant people like you who don't believe in him. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So their poor sons, who never did anything wrong, had to pay for the sins of their fathers. FUCKED UP!

nope.

Regardless of what the "facts" represent, its 100% unacceptable and ignorant to bash someone else's religion.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God isn't a person. God is God. Not he she me him her you i they. So there's no way 'God' supported then. Are you thinking of Jesus, if so find the scripture that says so.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hellooooo.? SATAN OWNS THIS WORLD. AND HOW IS GOD RACIST IF HE CREATED ALL RACES. AND GOD TOLD THE ISRAELITS THAT " the killing of all the first born sons" was going to happen so he does warn us. GOD DOESN'T DO ANY OF THE "BAD" THINGS TODAY, SATAN DOES. THAT IS WHY HHEEEE IS THE EVIL ONE.

erm chill out dude...

People who are saying that Pharoah ordered all newborn babies dead: Yes, that is true Pharoah ordered all newborn male Jewish babies dead. But this guy is refering to FIRSTBORN EGYPTIAN CHILDREN, the ones that were killed in the tenth and final plague on Egypt. And yes, that was ordered to happen by God. Be a little more alert when reading a post, okay? That being said, I don't really have an objective opinion on this post. I'm Jewish and I believe in God, but in the long run this is about Christians and sometimes I don't agree with what Christians have to say, so I can't really take too much offense or say much else.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok, OP, just STOP. I think I saw a comment above saying that this post is just as bad as Christians bashing Atheists. This is a site made for stupid, funny jokes to make people laugh, not start a heated argument! Can all you stubborn Christians and Atheists and Jews and Muslims and whatever else out there do us all a favor and stop arguing?! You are not convincing anyone nor are you going to make anyone join your religion so just quit it! Our God is not a violent God. Think whatever you want, just please do not post your religious shit talking on here.

I agree. Keep it to yourself.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the 609 people who disliked this didnt read the bible. God would have you killed for the simplist things. Not anymore.. if he was real why the sudden change of heart?

He killed the firstborn sons of all Egyptians because the Egyptians and their sons were evil men. They had broken covenants, murdered, etc. Most of the firstborn sons were not babies. They were old enough to know better. The babies were killed because God knew what they were going to grow up to become: evil men

How about this: I believe what I want to believe and you believe what you want to believe. You don't have to bash my faith or religion. And if you want to argue it please do get your facts straight. Just so you know God DID NOT support the Pharoah's order to kill all those babies. And just a fun fact to throw in, did you know it takes more faith to believe that Shakespare existed than to believe that Jesus existed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Did you know that faith cannot be physically measured thus proving your statement incorrect! Shakespeare has left behind evidence of his existence, his bones are buried in stratford upon avon he was real we know his wife his tales... Jesus flew away to heaven conveniently, so says the bible

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Valaleeeee!): There are only 21 documents with an eyewitness account For shakespeare and hundreds for Jesus from various places in the world.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Enough with all these retards bashing religion. I'm a christian, but I'm definitely not okay with people insulting the other religions as well. Just get a life and do something better with your time. And if you refuse to do that, at least do your research. Read the WHOLE story. Not just the little bits and pieces. It'll make you look less like an idiot.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow it shows how emotionally damaged some Christians are, whenever people question god they bring up this 'free will' So basically you can do whatever the fuck you want but you must stick to rules?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's not as cut and dry as all of that. He is a loving, just God, who does what he has to. Does he enjoy killing people? No. Will he if he has to? Sure. Did he know you were going to post this? Yes. Also, he did not kill the babies. The Pharoah did. And he sent Moses to stop the Hebrew opression, so he needed him to reach the princess.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree with this post, and that's the reason I'm Atheist. But seriously, I'm tired of posts about religion. Can't you guys just believe in what you believe in and shut up about it? It's annoying when you get in arguments!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

IM SICK OF PEOPLE BASHING RELIGIONS! LEAVE THE CHRISTIANS TO THEIR RELIGION IT'S NOT LIKE IN CHURCH THEY SIT AND SAY "PEOPLE IN OTHER RELIGIONS ARE STUPID SINCE THEY DONT BELIEVE IN OUR GOD" IF YOU DONT LIKE THEIR RELIGION THAT YOUR PROBLEM SO KEEP IT TO YOURSSELF SHUT UP AND LEAVE RELIGIONS ALONE!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Everyone just stop fighting. Christians will be Christian, Athiests will be Athiests, etc. All you need to worry about is you, and if other people don't believe in God and accept him, that is THEIR problem. Not yours. So just leave it alone.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There's no right answer for this. There are only two ways to believe anything: to have it proven to you beyond a shadow of a doubt, or to want to believe and to accept what's being told to you, to see the reason and logic within in and agree that hey, it sounds right. Everyone should just stop fighting, yo, it's not worth it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You can also find passages in the Quran that supports killing of non-Muslims. Greek/Roman Gods kill people for looking at them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

everyone calm down christians stop hating on people if you have ever read the old testament (im jewish) then god cares about others too he freed the hebrew children from egypt and led them to israel. also everyone forgets that jesus was jewish and i dont think he'd like people killing members of his own faith

by Anonymous 13 years ago

do christians really think god wants his children being cruel to eachother regardless of what you think if you are cruel to others you will go to hell

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Please be respectful of other peoples' beliefs and religion.
