Back in the day.. there was a shiny Charizard that had most of the stuff scratched off it which kept going around the school... and people used to trade a heck load of cards to get their hands on it lolol.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Haha, shiny cards were the best
by Anonymous14 years ago
Aren't you special. I still have mine too, I don't plan on getting rid of them any time soon.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I love fire pokemon. My first game EVER was Pokemon Blue Version for Gameboy Color :D and I chose charmander.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Mine was too. The day I got it was one of the best days ever.
by Anonymous14 years ago
My sister had red, but we didn't have a linking cable. :(
by Anonymous14 years ago
Older games are definitely better than what we have now.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Bomberman was my second game for the Gameboy Color :P that game was amazing...
then I got a Nintendo 64 and got Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario 64 x3
by Anonymous14 years ago
@Chromana, Sega Genesis for me.
@incedio, I just recently gave away my N64. It was a sad occasion
by Anonymous14 years ago
It was taking up space and my neighbor's kid wanted it. Who am I to deny happiness?
by Anonymous14 years ago
My N64 died one me...it stopped turning on. I loved that thing. I have not owned a game system since xD unless you coun't my computer.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Pokemon Rumble
Guitar Hero 5
Cooking Mama
Mario Kart Wii
by Anonymous14 years ago
Haha, it's what I grew up with. And I'll have you know that Pokemon Rumble is very addicting.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I'll man up when I feel like it. I'm quite fine in my comfort zone.
by Anonymous14 years ago
All the cool kids have really high Wii Fit ages.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I always get the same Wii Fit score as my actual age =/
My first ever game I bought was Gran Turismo 2 on the PS1... first ever game played in my entire life (from what I remember) is PGA Golf Tour for Windows 3.1 (Well, it just booted straight from DOS and was on a Floppy).
Last game I bought was GTA4 like last week for 9.99 on Play.com. Before that... well I can't remember because I normally pirate all my shit.
by Anonymous14 years ago
@Chromana, who says grannies can't be cool kids?
@Lex, I didn't even know that games came on floppy disks, wow.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I was never allowed a console like an N64 or Sega Megadrive as a child, so I grew up with an Amstrad, a BBCB and a PC.
My first console was a PS2, but I pretty much was given a PS1 by my brother (I borrowed it for like a year lol).
by Anonymous14 years ago
A childhood without videogames, I never thought it was possible
by Anonymous14 years ago
Well I just had the games on the PC. Jazz Jackrabbit, Sim City, oh and I had a Sega Megadrive Emulator when I had Windows 95 so I never missed out on the relevant games of the time :P
by Anonymous14 years ago
That's acceptable then. :)
by Anonymous14 years ago
I do love a good blast on an old games console. Anthony has a NES and we completed Two-Player Super Mario 3 earlier this year lol.
As for new gen consoles.. I had a 360 for about a month because I just never played on it, and the family has a Wii but that only has its limitations because I'm not prepared to buy games for it.
It's ALL about PC Gaming!
by Anonymous14 years ago
@Lex, Wiis are pretty boring. I have one and hardly play it
@Chromana, seriously? Floppy disks blow my mind.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I have Sim City for Windows 3.1 / 95 in the attic... it's made of 10 Floppy Discs to install LOL.
by Anonymous14 years ago
That's crazy!
by Anonymous14 years ago
No, you're lying
by Anonymous14 years ago
I see what you did there.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Back in the day with the BBCB and such they used to sell magazines and they would give you all the script (normally in basic) to type up manually to play the free game.
by Anonymous14 years ago
You guys are pulling my leg.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I've not heard of typing in binary because that just sounds far fetched, but the 'basic' code in monthly magazines and books sold in book stores is totally genuine lol. My mum used to type out entire games from a book and spending like an entire day to make a game which probably had like 5 or 10 minutes of gameplay lol
by Anonymous14 years ago
@Lex, crazy talk
by Anonymous14 years ago
I think my other post is catching up.
by Anonymous14 years ago
WHAT DID THE REPLY BUTTON EVER DO TO //YOU//?! ;(
by Anonymous11 years ago
IT DIDNT EXIST BACK THEN!!!
by Anonymous11 years ago

by Anonymous11 years ago
Anyone remember Crash Banderkoot?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Hellz yeah
by Anonymous14 years ago

by Anonymous14 years ago
And Mortal Combat. It was awesome.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I've never been good at Pacman... Worms was amazing though.. I was shit hot :P
by Anonymous14 years ago
I love Pacman and Mrs. Pacman. I have the homegame with the joystick. Worm was good.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Oh, sorry. IS good.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I have played pokemon red, pokemon crystal, pokemon emerald and pokemon pearl and out of all the starters I still think charizard is the best
by Anonymous13 years ago
I never saw anything special about Charizard. It's a generic dragon. So what? It's not even a dragon type (why?). It doesn't really evolve, it just gets bigger and grows wings. It can learn fly, but that's really the only thing it has that any other starter doesn't. Unless it was your first pokemon and you have nostalgia for it , I don't see why so many people point to it as their favorite.
