What a coincidence! In middle school, our Music department entered a rock band battle competition thing, the lead guitarist was called Chris.

People with ordinary names can do whatever they want in a band. Marilyn Manson sounds like he'd be a keyboardist or something. He's a singer. Ginger Fish sounds like a bassist. He's a drummer. Tom-lead guitarist if Tokio Hotel. Shawn, Patrick, Adam-all guitarists of Alesana. Point made.
