Just because they see other people act a certain way doesn't mean they have to also. Ultimately they make the choice to be like that. Nobody else does.

German children tend to continue with German tradition. Jewish Children tend to continue Jewish tradition. Very few of my friends who grew up religious every changed. 100% of my friend who grew up in vegetarian families are still vegetarians. Sure no one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you. But you are a slave to your conditioning. Tie a baby elephant to a tree with a rope and it will grow up perfectly capable of breaking the rope but not believing it can. People are the same way, there's an entire field of psychology devoted to it. So I'm gonna have to say it's ridiculous to expect someone, especially a 12 year old whose brain isn't going to be developed for another 10 years, to be responsible for this shit.

Personally I think it's a good think for them to dress like that. The second an old man starts hitting on them, or unfortunately, they get raped, it'll open their eyes to how stupid they're being. God forbid that would have to be their eye opener but that's how society is nowadays.

No. There are just as many 12 year olds not acting like sluts out there as 12 year olds acting like sluts, if not more. It depends entirely on the person, because most kids that age are exposed to the same pressures that the media puts on them. Also, that's around the same age children need to start realizing that they are the only ones responsible for their choices. Stop blaming the media for everything.
