+612 Headphone companies must have a button or lever or something that makes all of their headphones stop working. There no other way that headphones can last such little time, amirite?

They also control how often they get tangled. Because that shit's ridiculous.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh my god i know! Just set them down for 5 minutes and you're untangling them for 10.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahaha yeah! And it still happens even if you roll them up nicely.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know. The ones I'm wearing now are all tangled, but I'm too lazy to fix it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I can't have tangled headphones. I'll spend however long it takes to untie them, I guess it's my own form of OCD.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha well i got my weird ones with a 6 foot cord so i can deal with them being tangled. Normally i fix them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh damn, haha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah they're actually for my bass amp so you don't have to sit on the amp to use em, but they work quite nicely for laptops too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, that's what I figured. I've always wanted to play an instrument besides the piano.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I wish i could play piano. I really need to learn a few more instruments too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you know other instruments learning the piano isn't hard at all. All you really need to know is how to read music and then go from there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well thats easier said than done...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, I can barely read music and I play pretty well if that says anything about it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well the only music I can read at all is trumpet music

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha, that's more than I can.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I can barley read music for my electric guitar, if I get the base of it I can figure out the rest if I know the song.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So true. Well, unless you wrap them around your MP3 while they're still plugged in. It pulls at the cords in the base. But it definitely is true. I take immaculate care of my headphones but BAM! Tangled. BAM! Stop working after few months.

I have Skullcandy. It's been like 7 months since I bought them. How long do yours usually last? :S

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The longest was a year. Otherwise it's been 7-8 months. Then again, I get the cheap, less-than-$20 headphones.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My last pair were $25 and they lasts over a year. I had a pair of $300 headphones(Present from rich aunt for missing 8 of my birthdays) they lasts over 4 years before the speakers in them blew.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My Skullcandys only lasted about five months, I feel cheated.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

my skullcandys are at least 2-3 years old by now. They do get tangled allllllll theeeeeee timeeeeee though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, many things, especially electronics, are not built to last like they could be. That's why many cell phones don't last as long as you'd think they should. Companies do that so people will have to keep buying new stuff because their old stuff keeps wearing out

I've had a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre since Christmas. If they die anytime soon, I'll be soooo pissed that I spent that kind of money on headphones! *crosses fingers that they last a really long time*
