Poor grammar and unoriginal - I've heard this before.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Fyi, i havent heard this before. Just because you have doesn't mean others haven't. Also, what's wrong with the grammar?
by Anonymous13 years ago
The proper way to have written it is: "It's okay, emo kids, Pokémon hurt themselves in confusion, too."
Although this was written on a phone, so I'm giving OP a break.

-Sigh- Honestly, I really don't think many people care. I mean, do you use correct grammar/punctuation 24/7?! If you do then kudos to you, but, we don't really care. Sorry :)

Well, I plan on being a published writer some day, so I gotta get some practice in :).
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes...but.. correct other people isn't practicing :/ It's...being annoying. Pointing out other people's failures is kinda rude.. Good luck to you with your writing though

-sigh- correcting*
by Anonymous13 years ago
I was merely answering your question, since you asked what was wrong with the grammar. There shouldn't be anything wrong with that.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh yeah I know that. I didn't really mean to make it sound directed at you. I was saying in general it's rude. I know you only corrected it because I asked.

A truly skilled writer knows what rules to ignore, and when to ignore them.

I also am planning on becoming a published writer, but I think as long as the grammar isn't atrocious, and the sentence makes obvious sense (like this one) it's fine. It's a fun site, but you can push grammar nazi-ism too far. Some is okay though. We can't have complete illiteracy on a website about WRITING out ideas for agreement. :)
