+402 Never judge a book by its cover. Just use the paragraph on the back, it tells you what the story is about. Amirite?

I always read that! But I hate how sometimes it give parts away. Like the author will set up this dramatic moment in the beginning where the main character's family dies, which sets up the plot, but the back will be like "After Timmy's family dies..." Then when I'm reading it's like "He opened the door-" "I ALREADY KNOW WHAT'S BEHIND THE DOOR! YOUR DEAD FAMILY! THE HACKET TOLD ME!"

You have to somewhat judge the cover to make you pick up the book to read the back in the first place
