+2,201 The saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me," doesn't really work in Harry Potter, amirite?

I don't get it...

they say spells which require you to say some words

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh thanks, they still need a wand though, which counts as a stick?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes, but you need words. no words no spell. Plus the saying means, like, the can have things thrown at them or something. Sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious too much, but they're not throwing the sticks at them.. which is whatt he saying means

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Doesn't really fly in the real world either

by Anonymous 13 years ago

but the wands are kind of like sticks.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

but they aren't throwing the wand at them. Plus what good is a wand without words?

Avada Kedavra doesn't kill people, wands kill people. Wands don't kill people, wizards with cute daughters kill people.
