not always.. in the summer I always flip over to the cool side but in the winter I prefer a nice warm pillow :]

Maybe an air pillow? I had an air mattress that was always cold. I had to put a quilt over it because it was so cold.

Most of time a cold pillow/mattress is prefriable :)
