it's kind of bothersome when you read a book and then watch the movie, and the characters don't look how they're supposed to...at all, amirite?

My friends who have read the Percy Jackson series complained about the characters in the movie. I've also heard a couple complaints about the Twilight series, though I haven't read the books or seen the movies.

This isn't even close to one of my favorite books (Not a fan but I can't stop reading it...) But they are making a movie out of the book "Wings" The lead is supposed to be beautiful, blond, have pale skin, kind,etc. She finds out she's a fairy, so her character is fairy like. you know who's playing her? Miley Cyrus. Her mom's producing the movie.

i was thinking of charlie st. cloud :) i have the book with zac efron on the cover b/c it was cheaper hehe

and the first page said he had sandy blonde hair and dark caramel eyes... uh, and on the cover he has bright bright blue eyes and dark hair xD :)

Percy Jackson. I know it's hard to find someone exactly like it, but they (the movie producers) could try a bit harder. I swear, they don't even read the books sometimes...

Pretty Little Liars. No one looks remotely how the should and it pisses me off. Not to mention the plot is practically unrecogniazable they screwed with it so much.

Supposedly, a movie for Hunger Games is in the works. I'm going to be really mad if they cast celebrities for it. I really want people without any pre-made reputation/expectations to get cast. (And who, obviously, look like the characters they're playing.)

We can go Hunger Games on their asses. "Their" being directed at whoever is as fault. I have confidence in the screenplay though, since Suzanne Collins is (supposedly) writing it herself.

Not really a movie, but the Vampire Diaries. I heard it was really far off from the book, although I didn't read it myself...? They're turning my FAVORITE book into a movie (Wicked Lovely) and I sure hope they don't screw it up. :P

Vampire Diaries was way messed up. The main female character (I forgot her name) was supposed to be blonde and she wasn't supposed to have a brother, and Bonnie was supposed to be a short red head.
