+228 We all say we don't believe in stereotypes but we are always surprised when the blond cheerleader gets the 100 on the math test. amirite?

Nah, I believe in stereotypes

If I don't know her I might be. Most of the people in my classes I've known long before they were that stereotype or I knew that stereotype, so I'm more used to them getting good grades or not good grades.

Does that mean you are surprised that you got 100 too?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The way I said that makes no sense.

My thoughts exactly.

Because of the comment system here I'm not sure what you're referring to. Just in case, what I meant was: her username is "thatblondcheerleader" and her post was all inclusive. She stated that "we are all surprised" meaning she was too. So I was asking if that meant she was surprised when she did well on a test.

Oh, I didn't notice her username. I see. And I was, in fact, responding to your second comment, so that worked out. And yes, dat bad comment system.

Yeah I wasn't trying to be confusing. But my comment makes more sense now I hope.

Yeah I think it's simply because people (me) didn't notice OP's username.

Most of the cheerleaders and football players at my school are overachievers and get good grades all the time. So the whole dumb cheerleader/football player stereotype doesn't fit at my school. What's really surprising is when a stoner gets a 100.
