+215 Wacky grammar fact of the day: to make a noun plural, you add an "s". There is no apostrophe, so saying "emo's are" or "bush's are" is just wrong—even if it ends in ch, sh, s, or x. Amirite?

You better stick to doing this everyday......

Awesome post.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Um...why would anyone put an apostrophe to make something plural?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some people are extremely stupid. That's why.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This person is stupid enough: http://www.amirite.net/250000/377984

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow...that's just sad.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that person used the apostrophes correctly actually.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, they didn't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes he/she did. She's = she is. "She's not a cat"..."She is not a cat".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That would be all fine and well had the link directed only to the post. It directed to a comment on the post, which reads: " these mod's do what they are suppossed to do. they delete the awful posts and they keep people like you inline most of the time"

Or an 'es.'

by Anonymous 13 years ago

if it ends in s then you add an apostrophe, BUT NOTHING ELSE.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm, pretty sure that's wrong, you add an apostrophe when something is both plural and possessive, for example if they are the cats, and that is their house, that is "The cats' house"

Bushes. Bushs would be weird.

What the fuuuuuuuuuu... Who does not know this?!

1. The people who make grammatic errors may not even speak English as a first language. 2. If in fact the person making the mistake is speaking English as a first language then; a. They are too young and will probably end up learning it anyways or b. They are too old to even care or bother to learn by now

I really hope you all know how to make a correct plural, rather than just knowing how to make an incorrect plural.

Or if it ends in "y" add ie then s such as berry to berries!
