Yeah! like this one time I was telling my parents about that facebook page "Give me your drink to hold and I'll drink it" and they automatically assumed it was about alcohol and got all mad and told me to unlike it, and then it somehow turned into a life lesson about how you shouldn't give your drink to someone else or leave it unattended because you will get drugged and raped. I was so very, very confused.

I was saying how one of my guy aquaintences came to school totally blazed and how funny he was acting and my parents went on about how if I dated a guy like that, they would get me into drugs and that I better not be close friends with this kid and how horrible the affects of drugs are blablabla...I was just telling them the funny things he did...not confessing my love from him & pot.

I hate that after you try to tell a story and they make a lesson out of it they then get made for not "sharing your life" with them. It's like "well I tried, you had to go and ruin it."
