The world has been going through different climatic changes since the beginning. Trying to change that would probably screw something up.

You dont really know what your talking about do you. This is not natural. Its rapid and be traced from the industrial revolution. Also "global warming" isnt just a change of temp upwards (like prev climatic changes) it also means more extreme weather conditions ie hot/cold storms, hurricans etc. So no: its not just some natural warming of the earth.

Yes, I do actually know what I'm talking about. We've had several class discussions on this and I've done research. I never said that the degree of the climatic changes going on right now was natural, it's just a bit more extreme than usual. And I never said anything about global warming being the natural warming of the earth?

Class dicussions wow. Im sorry but no self respecting scientist denies that climate change is not caused by humans. look at the research derived from the koch brothers. Ie the oil industry billioneers. Even THAT research isnt denying it anymore. and if the oil industry believes it then you better as well. They have the absolute least to gain from such a conclusion.

What's wrong with class discussions? I'm not allowed to actually learn things in school? And I'm pretty sure every scientist would agree that there has been natural climate change. What about the ice ages? I'm pretty sure they happened long before we had cars and other things polluting the atmosphere. You aren't understanding me. I've said that some climatic change is normal. The fact that the earth has stopped its normal cycle and is still heating up is yes, caused by humans. That is called global warming. Climatic changes=/=Global warming.

The problem is that some of us really don't know what to do about it. Yeah yeah, turn off your lights, but what are the greater activities we should or shouldn't be participating in in assisting in the creation of a healthier earth?
