+111 You wish you could go to that one place where the air is extremely clean so you could feel the freshness, but you know that wish won't come true because the place doesn't exist no more. amirite?

In the country that I live in (Kyrgyztsan) in the mountains the air is very clear. The air in Bishkek is horrible, you can smell how bad it is but up in the mountains it's a great place to go and relax.

There's no places like that in America, but plenty in the world. I.e. Estonian and Finnish air is very clean if you go to the smaller towns

Of course there are large swaths with clean air in the States. You usually just have to leave the cities for it - depending on which city you're in.

Actually, there is. If you ever go to Evergreen, Colorado, and drive with you windows open, greatest smell/breeze you will ever feel. Not every city in America is a filthy dump.

Drakensburg mountain range in South Africa...then again, any mountian range in any country should have fresh, clean air.

Yosemite is pretty good for that. When I got back after a week there, I was squinting to see through the haze at home.

I just stick my face in my house plant when I'm craving a bit of fresh air.
