+599 I don't understand why people say vampires "suck blood." The blood pressure would cause the blood to just gush into their mouths anyway, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Your heart doesn't pump to produce pressure when you're dead.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Vampires don't just kill people and then drink their blood.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Seems like it'd be easier to drink blood from a still human compared to one flailing its arms around. >_>

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They obviously want their food to be alive.

How would you know? o.O

He's immortal, knowing all other imoortals.

Truer fax have never been spoken.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But still, the movie Vampires Suck seems to contradict your statement in its title.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

vampires are just stupid! everyone should just get over it!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Overthinking much? ;)

NW.

Well, according to an old episode of the grim adventures of billy and Mandy, vampires actually "bite, and lick"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

SCRAPE and lick, actually. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

DAMN.. beat me to it. I hate you now! (cries in corner)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not necessarily. It depends on where you bite. A major artery would spew blood, but a small blood vessel wouldn't. For example, your neck might gush, but a vampire would be able to suck the blood from a wrist wound. It also depends on how big the wound is. Vampires don't make big slits, they just make two small punctures.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was going to say that! Also, when you get a cut, it doesn't spew blood. It trickles out. Sucking makes it more efficient.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Exactly! Fuck yeah for over-analyzing vampire dietary habits! :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

mosquitos rely on blood pressure to drink blood. it would make sense for vampires to do the same. You can blow up a mozzie by tensing your muscles while they're biting you. They get stuck and the blood pressure increases. Its very funny

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But mosquitoes are very small, and the blood pressure of a human to a mosquito is very different from the blood pressure of a human to another human(oid). I would hardly compare the two.

O YOU

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wouldn't how much it gushes depend on which vein or artery was bitten?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Eh, I always say they drink blood. Unless they're prissy little fairies who sparkle in the sun, that is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's like a juice box... If you suck, more comes out.
