We all judge a person by the way they look before they even start talking, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Not at all.
by Anonymous13 years ago
This is human nature. Anyone who voted no is in denial.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It depends on the scenario, If I'm just talking to a cashier in a shop their looks don't even come into it. If I'm meeting new people in one of my college classes then yeah, like everyone else, I do judge. But to be honest, sometimes I'm worrying more about how I look to them before I even notice what they look like

I'm trying to stop though. It's unhealthy.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's only unhealthy if you do not give the person a chance to prove you wrong.

... and then when they start talking, we judge them by their voice too before judging them by what they're even saying.

(ckcottonkandy) so true!
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wish I didn't but, I do.

It's fair, though. Obviously if you dislike a person because they're physically unattractive that's wrong.
But if you notice the way a person's dressed, the way they raise their hand, or even how they stand; It's fair to make minor assumptions of that person's personality.

Well we do subconsciously judge people by their posture, body language, etc.
by Anonymous11 years ago
OP looks delicious.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Thanks, I really am.
by Anonymous11 years ago
And we continue to judge right after their first words.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Yes. It's called instinct.

I'm actually going through a tough time right now and nobody has even dared to be kind to me while everyone influences everyone to hate me.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Wow, maybe you could use some more attention.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I've gotten quite past it but it's still annoying that people won't give an inch for remorse or logic. Thank you.
by Anonymous11 years ago
And hey sometimes we're exactly right.
by Anonymous11 years ago
To be honest, on the first day of going to a new school, I choose to sit next to Asian people because I know they will be smart. Shut up. It's true. It's not my fault. Or is it. Whatever.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Why is this so true? By nature are we just judgmental people?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Fat, bad
Skinny, good
That's all the judgments I'll ever make.
by Anonymous11 years ago
And people wonder why so many others develop eating disorders.
