+677 The Discovery Channel's lifelong goal is to scare you. The ''Monsters inside me'' makes you want to live in a bubble and never touch anything that may contain any life, ''Mystery Diagnosis'' makes you afraid the doctors wont know whats wrong with you either, and it is no coincidence that Shark Week is in the summer. amirite?

They do some scary shit on Mythbusters occasionally too xD

I thought this said disney channel at first, and said to myself, "there's maybe only one movie that was ever scary on disney channel and that was the "phantom of the megaplex" or whatever it was cause it reminded me of scream lol. But DISCOVERY channel, however... that's just a nightmare in reality waiting to happen.

My mom banned me from watching "Monsters Inside Me" because I got too paranoid.

"Monsters Inside Me" is from Animal Planet

And isnt Mystery Diagnosis from TLC? Either way, those shows are just there to keep you from going outside so you'll stay inside and watch more discovery channel.

Ohh well I'm probably wrong, But I thought that they were all like the same company..or whatever that would be. But yeah,The real point is that all of those kinds of shows scare the crap out of you:)

According to statistics, you are more likely to get hit on the head with a coconut and die than get killed by a shark...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah but they have a lot of statistics. Every once in a while there will be a sighting of some sharks, then like on major shark attack where someone dies or loses limbs. it's possible. And so is getting hit with a coconut.

I heard more people die from pigs than sharks. Serves them right for making those animals suffer so people can eat them.

Yes frightening. But why worry about things unchangeable. Tonight I spilled corn nuts picken them off the floor and they looked safe so i ate them. I will not be dead from a bit of dirt.
