I found the book plots to be really strange and confusing. I like the show more than the books, because (so far) they keep it mysterious without being bizarre.

I agree. The last book was very confusing regarding....well, you know. ;) I still hope they take the show in the same direction. If they don't, a lot of the people who read the books (including me) will be angry.

I just hope if they do go in a different direction, they keep the essence of the characters the same. I'm okay with plot changes since I wasn't a big fan of the plots in the books, but character changes (aside from what they already did) are just wrong.

Yes, they must keep the character traits the same! And what happens to them (like when Hanna goes to the, er, place - I don't wanna spoil it for some).

The end was confusing at first, but I think the end was AMAZING and I will be seriously mad if the show changes it. I don't like the show in the first place, it seems a LOT different. Why aren't you a fan of the plots in teh books?

I heard that the show is going to be a lot different from the book. The director actually said that no one knows who A is gonna be. Not even the actors. Only the screenwriter/play writer and the director himself. It keeps it a mystery i guess

I am definitely a fan of the plots in the books! I don't know where I said otherwise; and if I did, I didn't mean to. I love the books. At first the last book was confusing, but I loved it.

Yes. The second season starts on January (sometime around the 3rd) on ABC Family, but before the first next episode starts, a marathon of the first season will also air. (:
