They should make remote controls with beepers so you can find it when it gets lost, amirite?

Although it would be annoying to hear a beeping sound coming from the remote periodically...UNLESS...of course...the beeping is controlled by a remote control...

It would be better to have like a phone ringer attache to it and a thing to make it ring permanently attached to a wall.
