-409 Puting the L on the left side and R on the right side of earphones is completely pointless. No one follows it and if it just so happens that L and R are on the right side, its a couincidence. amirite?

I actually do follow the letters. I look at my headphones before I put them in my ears, to make 110% sure they're in right. also, if you're as picky about music as I am, you'll notice a difference in how the music sounds when you put them in the wrong ears.

I specifically make sure I put the things in the right ears.

You only have one right ear

*coincidence

I actually have a lot of songs on my iPod that play different things out of the different earbuds, such as (Shameless advertising!) California Dreaming, where the different sides are playing completely different things. Of course, flipping the buds around doesn't make a difference, but it's strange listening to the verse coming from the wrong ear. Also, I'm just used to checking L and R because of online gaming. If I don't check my L and R, how do I know that that Sniper isn't in that building to the right of me, or which way I should go to avoid that Heavy?

You need to make sure the L and R are properly aligned if your headphones are ergonomic. It feels really weird if you switch the headphones.

I'm extremely OCD about this, they have to be in the correct ears or I take them out. Sometimes, I take them out just to check because they feel weird.

Wow, and I thought I loved music. >_< I did not notice there was a difference. I'm going to check and see the difference.
