Guys: Tell a girl she's beautiful. Not "hot" or "sexy", amirite?

I agree, though surely if it's meant to be in a sexual context or situation, 'sexy' or 'hot' is appropriate?

Although, I'd definitely take beautiful over hot, I think it's nice to be called 'sexy' or 'hot' once in a while.

When a guy says "hot" or "sexy", it feels like they just want to get in your pants, not have an actual relationship.

OK hot, sexy, and beautiful are not synonyms, a girl can be beautiful and not hot, but they can be all 3. And not only guys use these words girls say them too.

Hearing someone call me beautiful just makes my day :] "hot" and "sexy" are such artificial comments. you cant be hot or sexy on the inside. but you can be beautiful inside and out <3

i totally agree. if a boy call you "beautiful" or "cute" its sweet, but "hot" or "sexy" means that theyre focusing on your body, which most likely means they only want one thing from you before you get dumped

being called beautiful is great! but i agree with the other posters i still like being called hot and sexy.. when my boyfriend is talking to me he usually ALWAYS sais "sup sexy" and yeah its pretty nice but if he said "hey beautiful" it would definetly make my day(:

Personally, I think beautiful is cliche. Plus, everyone is beautiful in their own way! Being called 'hot' or 'fit' or 'sexy' lets you know that a guy really finds you attractive.

I used to talk to this guy who would always call me hot and sexy, and then I met another guy who said I was beautiful and adorable. I didn't even want to talk to the first guy after that. Being called beautiful is definitely better [:

Calling a girl hot or sexy is not a bad thing. calling her beautiful every random once in a while completely lights up her day.

Well they can mean different things. Hot really means they get you hot and bothered just by being near them. Sexy obviously means theyre sexually attractive. And we all know what beautiful means
