+234 The Radio - Every awesome song's nightmare. amirite?

No, it's selfish so called "hipsters" who don't want their favorite songs to become famous that it is the nightmare for. Many bands want to become well known, and earn some money; they don't want to be struggling and working other jobs to make a living. They would love to be dedicated to the band, and be able to live off of it. Sure, no band really wants to be controlled by the hot shots in the "music industry", but having a song on the radio brings some fame to their name, and gives them a very good break.

And then they play it again and again and again and again and again and again until every single person on the face of this earth wants to stab the creator of the song in the face with a rusty spoon.

hmm I didn't think about that, but they eventually stop because another replaces it. For example, "Pumped Up Kicks" was overplayed, but they stopped, and it brought my attention to Foster the People. They earn many fans, even if it means a bit of anger, which is more directed towards the radio than the artist, and it goes away over time as the song is replaced.
