19 children and they want another one!? The Duggars should get a new hobby, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
i guess having unprotected sex is their hobby

They're following the bible. It says you should reproduce and carry on the human race. I know a lot of very religious families who have 8+ children.

but 19, c'mon i have classes that have less kids in them then that. imagine how neglected those kids must feel to be one of 19.

not to mention their carbon footprint

a.) just because some people on here crave attention from birth, that doesn't mean every child is incapable of being raised in a large family where the spotlight isn't always on THEM.
b.) for such a liberal site - where almost everyone is pro-gay rights, many are pro-choice, and those old enough to have common sense are pro-weed - it's surprising that you can sit here and worry yourself about what other people are doing, when the tagline of most liberal teenagers is "why does it matter what other people are doing? just worry about yourself". You know, that doesn't just apply to abortion, gay marriages, and smoking weed. People have the right to have a bunch of children if they want.
And by the way@424034 (julieL): carbon footprints do NOT matter when it comes to having children. But if that and overpopulation worry you so much, I expect you shouldn't have children when you're older either. I mean, imagine all the carbon you'll save!

true. I'm one of 14 and it does suck.
by Anonymous13 years ago
At least you always have someone to hang out with when you're bored.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't talk to any of my brothers.
by Anonymous13 years ago
if you actually watch the show, you see how happy and connected all of them are. they all are great kids being raised by respectable people.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Whoa, what? Where does the Bible say to do that?
by Anonymous13 years ago
"go forth and be fruitful"
by Anonymous13 years ago
You would think that after their child (and the mother) nearly died due to something bad that happenedC that they would stop having kids! I mean SERIOUSLY!!
by Anonymous13 years ago
college is gonna be expensive
by Anonymous13 years ago
you got that right!
by Anonymous13 years ago
They're like rabbits!
by Anonymous13 years ago
They're only twelve kids away from the number of people in my graduating class. That's sad on two different levels.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's so weird because i saw on one show that their oldest daughter was going to have a baby and if they keep that up then when their grand-childeren are like 10 they'll be saying hello to their 11 month old aunt/uncle.

or a box of condoms.
by Anonymous13 years ago
First, they take the "go forth and multiply" thing way to far. It doesn't really apply when the world is overpopulated.
Second, I would feel pretty neglected or like I didn't matter if I had that many siblings. Two of the twin boys literally have the exact same middle name! Also imagine being "the baby" for only about a year before another kid comes. I'd feel really unimportant
by Anonymous13 years ago
I feel like once you have 19, you might as well have 20.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Why stop at 19? 19's for quitters!
by Anonymous13 years ago
The should change the name of that show to "The life of a sex addict".
by Anonymous13 years ago
Duggars, Schmuggers, WHO CARES? It's THEIR family.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I guess I rather hear about a family that is extremely connected and having 19 children more than I would want to hear about the Octomom's life.
