The outpouring of sadness when someone dies can be annoying. If you had little to do with the person in life then don't pretend you're going to miss them terribly, that's just dishonest and disrespectful to those that will genuinely miss them. amirite?

Then say that, don't say "I'll miss him/her so much!" or something to that effect.
