+573 Hi, i'm from Canada, we have 4 seasons, almost winter, winter, still winter and construction season. Or at least that's how it is in Saskatchewan and Alberta, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't know what it's like in canadia, but this made me lol. So ima say yes and homepage.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

:D I got one one the homepage! One anonymous one though so it's not on my profile. Thanks! It's Canada not Canadia, btw. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know it's Canada, I just like the way canadia sounds.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Once I accidentaly said Cananada. My friends will not let me life it down.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I say Canadia too :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've said Canadia few times when I suddenly change from about to say Canadian to Canada, coming out Canadia. My friends make fun of me every time.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

HA! construction season, it's so true.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm from Saskatchewan, and I agree with construction season for sure, but not the rest of it, so I am going to have to vote no way.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dude this is dead on!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

ONTARIO TOO. TRUFAX.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same holds true for Minnesota. Made me laugh. Very nice.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Basically Vancouver too

by Anonymous 13 years ago

umm... I went to Vancouver in February and we went to the aquarium. It was like +10 and the person doing the dolphin show thanked everyone for coming out in the "cold"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ah, yes. Don't we just love our Saskatchewan?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hi, I'm from Texas. We have 4 seasons: almost summer, summer, still summer, and a freezing cold winter of about 45 degrees. At least here in Austin.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hahah, 45 degrees is considered a freezing cold winter for you? that's like springtime weather where i'm from.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, sometimes it gets down in the 30's, but if the temperature gets to freezing or below, they have to close schools :D Our school almost closed when we had our first snow day is about 5 years (it lasted about 5 hours total), but it was 32.4 degrees.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, our schools don't close unless the snow is too deep for the plows to get through. And even then it's really just the buses that get cancelled, the schools are technically still open.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Whoa O.o We don't have plows in Austin. We rarely get snow. The last time it snowed and stayed for more than a moment was when I was in 2nd grade, and then again in 8th grade like I mentioned above.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My school didn't close unless it was -35C, and even then it was still optional to go. I've seen -50C.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This is so true! I'm from Louisiana, but I think we have more humidity than y'all.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hmm.... I don't know, Texas is pretty humid... But I agree, y'all have more humidity, I think.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thats true for most provinces but not really Ontario

by Anonymous 13 years ago

eh its true but not much for south western ontario but true for northern ontario.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

MANITOBA ALSOOOOOO. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You forgot Manitoba.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well not really. I said or at least that's just Sk and Ab. Not it just is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, gets friggen cold here.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

In NY, or my town, we have Winter, Colder winter, Slightly less cold winter, then blazing-hot summer.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This is actually a joke about Wisconsin by Jeff Foxworthy. And it's been repeated many times. Sooo it's not that original.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yay Wisconsin! :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wisconsin is legit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh yes. I am in Wisconsin right now :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

is your name by chance... nikki?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

nope

by Anonymous 13 years ago

then nevermind. but wisconsin does rock.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Indeed it does.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same for Québec. :P Awful construction!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm from Alberta and this is very true!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dude, here in Nova Scotia everything applies, except they're alwaaays doing construction ;D.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol, well here in Vancouver, BC, it is rain, more rain and even more rain. Then maybe snow every couple years!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm from Alberta. Totally true unfortunately. It snowed on June 21 this year.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm from AB too. I don't remember that, but it just may be different cities :|

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i love how everyone talking about vancouver said that this applies to us or that its always raining here. That is beyond untrue and yes i can take a joke but i dont like that everyone thinks vancouver is so rainy. Yeah sure it rains alot in the spring but our summers are always nice and hot and our winters.... Well they just suck, rain and snow dont mix well. But one thing about vancouver is that the weather is quite random, so you never quite know what to expect.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same with NL. But really the coasts are more mild and rainy because, well, they're on the coast...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

In bc where i am it was 35 degrees celcius yesterday and 30 today

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I am from Central/Northern Ontario and it is SO true!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

not in southern ontario.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

not so much this year. But last year, it was construction season on highway 403.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I live in Halifax nova scotia , and I agree with construction season , except it's not a season .. It's alllll year round lol. Buut I don't find it's ever that cold here. We have nice weather I find

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think this is pretty much true for all of canada and northern us... ive lived in ontario and minnesota so true for both... dont forget the heat and fucking humidity that goes with construction season

by Anonymous 13 years ago

LOL ya construction season is right. Gov problly spends 90% of their budget from may-july

by Anonymous 13 years ago

here in Florida we have seasons that are almost summer, summer, not summer but really hot, and Christmas. Our seasons are kinda like your opposites i guess. lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Here where I'm at we've got construction, more construction, deathly hot, and deathly cold (not always in that order, though.)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

this also applies to the Yukon

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's definatly not like that in Quebec. Here, its Winter for like, 4 months, Spring/Summer, as the weather is insanly bi-polar and insists on going back and forth between the two, and Fall.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

YOU FORGOT MANITOBA. Manitoba is a wasteland of stoners, construction, snow and more stoners.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

i think thats pretty true for all of canada :P
