I never got into them personally, I don't much care for pop-punk. But didn't some of their own members come out and say it was all manufactured? Also, I think it's pretty shitty when the lead singer gets all of the attention when it's a group effort.

don't get me wrong, i LOVE paramore! and i think they're a great band. but they're not THAT great, like there's nothing really extraordinarily different about them. so i agree, very overrated. & hate how Hayley gets all the attention, no offence to her, yes offence to the fans.

They are so fucking shit, amateur guitar, screaming girl singer and unoriginal songs. Wake up emo's listen to real music

You've probably never heard of them.

I like them alright, but I still agree with this statement. They're nothing special.

...pretty sure anyone saying it's typical pop punk should go have a listen to their 3 very successful albums. By the way lead singers get the attention because they are the LEAD, it depends what the singer does about that decides whether it's a good band. Douchebags.

Hayley actually has really good vocals. (Airplanes shows her versatility). She doesn't always sceam. Try listening to their less popular songs; when it rains, conspiracy, feeling sorry, etc. Even some of their popular songs are good: decode, brick by boring brick. Yes, Hayley gets more attention, but she's the lead, a girl, and has red hair, lol. Listen to the lyrics. They are not meaningless. I mean, When It Rains was written in response to the suicide of Hayley's friend. They are special, and I just hate that something as stupid as twilight brought them mainstream, but again, the lyrics of decode actually pertain to the book and i never get tired of it.
