The first person to have a baby must have been pretty freaked out, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Wouldn't this be the same concept of, "What came first, the chicken or the egg?"
by Anonymous13 years ago
Maybe that's why a lot of people turn to religion. It provides an explanation.

Why would they be freaked out when humans were mammals long before we were actually humans?
by Anonymous13 years ago
um, a strange human-like fat creature just squished out of the woman's vagina, how would they not be freaked out?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Because it's nature... Every animal reproduces, how could they be freaked out by that?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Because if they were the first person *ever*, then they would have no idea it was natural, and would probably be terrified.

(My name): The "first person ever" most likely didn't have the emotions or logic that modernized humans have now, and instead lived by INSTICT and NATURE. Do you have any idea how gradual natural selection is? As in, do you know how slow the process of humans gaining intellectual and emotional thought was? Or even how long it took for us to form into the human species in general? It's not like the "first person ever" suddenly "freaked out" because they were pregnant

(Maddie Mary): hey, no need to be a jerk about it. it's a simple statement. if you're going to comment on her post, be a little considerate, okay? you're not perfect.
by Anonymous13 years ago
um, sorry? I was just debating my opinion and stating why I disagree. I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to offend anyone or set off an aggressive vibe.
by Anonymous13 years ago
and getting pregnant...their stomach swelling up.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Maybe God explained this to Adam and Eve when he gave them "the talk."
by Anonymous13 years ago
No... we had instincts far before common sense.
by Anonymous13 years ago
you're an idiot. its instinctual to mate and procreate, the thing wouldnt have been freaked out because it wouldnt have been a human coming out of a human like thing, the difference would have been so slight that it wouldnt have noticed, plus, doubtful that it was even sentient so it wouldnt have registered the difference and been able to make an emotional response
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hmm I don't know about about the last part, but yeah since the first people probably spent a lot of time with animals, they probably knew what giving birth was like.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Shut the hell up! you have no clue what you're talking about! no need to be a jerk about it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
The concept of birth still freaks me out to be honest. I mean, a human coming out of another human? Stretching a tiny hole to a mammoth size...yeah, it's normal and "life" n'all but it's still fucking freaky.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Almost every living thing on the planet lives by pure instinct. Humans are probably the only living organism capable of intelligent thinking and emotional responses, which has taken millions of years to evolve. Before we were humans, we were just mammals, whose sole purpose on the Earth was to reproduce and then die. It's nature. The cycle has been going on for eons.

For the reasons giving by others in the coments, which I will not repeat here, you, op, are a fucking moron. You should never have been born.
by Anonymous13 years ago
This made me ROFL.
They were probably like OMF WTF IS THAT!?!?
hahahaha
