I meant more along the lines of, "if you watched something that regularly had music playing, and then you muted the music, it would seem dumb with the random silences." because yes, some awkward tv become that much more awesome and hilarious when you have no music, but if you, for example, took the dramatic music out of "lost" it would become even more apparent that only about 50% of an episode is dialog

Life has awkward silences, ones that last an eternity if you are on drugs, and even longer if you are on psychedelic drugs (or so i hear heh heh heh). I have wondered if certain scenes make us cry only because of the music
