-210 The book may be better than the movie, but it won't take months to watch the movie, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And it takes you months to read a book?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Yeah, it only takes me a few days.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Yeah, it only takes me a few hours.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I am limited only by how fast I can turn the pages.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

and I am limited only by how much work my mothers decides I need to do around the house today.

BUGGERBUTTER. And either way it would be verb disagreement...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah but that would've covered Fry's face even more than it's already covered. SO WHICH IS IT?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

accidental pluralization. hrmghlbelrhgmrgh...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Clearly all the posters above ONLY read the book after purchasing it until finish. That's just weird.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How do you read books then??

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You read lightly it for an hour, then put it down. make some food, go out to the greater world, hang out with friends, go on the computer, and read more of it. You integrate it into your daily life. It won't take months to read, though. Sometimes A month, if you're reading more complicated nonfiction books. But this opposed to just pooing your trousers and reading the whole thing in a second - not every book has to be the latest edition to your favorite series. And the latest edition to your favorite series doesn't even have to be like that.

Anybody notice that 4 posts down is a post that says, "the book is ALWAYS better than the movie" and it was also posted in 2010.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Takes me from an hour to a week depending on how much I want to read the book... But I did have a friend who took a year to finish reading a book. (It wasn't even long...)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I did that well I lost the book then remembered I never finished it

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't get it... so the majority of you thinks it takes months to watch a movie?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No. The majority thinks it doesn't take months to read a book.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Haha. What I was getting at is that the post simply implies the what you said. However, it explicitly proves what I said in my comment. Since both the post and my comment have negative votes, it seems people would rather dwell on implications rather than what is explicitly stated. That was all.

In these kinds of posts, there are two things people can disagree with but still only one "No Way" button. So people choose the more obvious thing to disagree with, and in this case, it is that a book does not take a few months to read.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Essentially, this post just says that movies aren't months long. I dont think anyone would disagree with that.

I finished Harry Potter 7 in one day yet I'm waiting months for part 2.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Either you used the wrong tense or you don't realize that part 2 is already out

by Anonymous 12 years ago

(Anonymous):sorry, *I waited

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I like to read AND watch movies.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The longest it's taken me to read a book was a month, but that's because it was the Lord of The Rings Trilogy (handily compiled into a single book), but I blame that on my 11 year old brain refusing to process what I was reading.
