+252 Regardless of whether you're doing it for defense, or for revenge, the idea of having to kill someone is terrifying, amirite?

I realize I can't say this with certainty until I'm in that situation, but if I had a good reason to kill someone (defense or revenge), I don't think it would take much of a toll on me. If they deserved it, why should it bother me that I killed them?

I think I'd feel bad if it was in defense, cause however small it was, there was a chance they didn't have to die for me to protect myself. But if it was revenge, for say my family, I think I'd be so mentally broken over their deaths that I'd have no problem with a revenge killing.

It depends I guess. If they threatened my family, I feel like I could bite their head off if necessary and not be bothered. Otherwise, yes.

When I don't think too hard about it, it doesn't bother me, but when I think about the holistic effect, it's pretty terrifying. That person you killed could have had a family, friends, people who cared about said person and people said person cared about in return. You're taking away a person's life. They can't ever come back. When you try imagining yourself in the situation. It gets kind of scary.

I don't have the guts to seriously injure or kill anyone. Not sure if that's good or bad.
