They don't make plans or develop strategies except to stop evil plans and strategies, because if they were looking to run things, they would be the villains. I mean, duh. Heroes aren't out to control people or interfere in their lives except to help. Your post is sort of true, except that without villains, heroes would just be people living good and happy lives. And villains *do* run the world, because unfortunately there aren't nearly as many heroes.

The problem with horses, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, horses would stagnate. Without horses, villains would be running the world. Horses have morals. Villains have work ethic. amirite?

This is SO true. I've been lamenting about how heroes do none of the work and get all the recognition for some time now, it's nice to see that people are starting to pay attention to the plight of my fellow supervillain.
