+624 When you're in school, kids get judged based on the amount of money they have. That's not fair considering their parents are the ones that earn it. amirite?

No kids in my school are judged on something like that...I'd say more than half of the "popular kids" in my school come from average-income homes.

Most of the popular kids at my school won't even talk to you unless you're wearing designer jeans :

Idk what kinda school that is... In my school (when I went there a few years ago) you were judged by the classes you took and the people you hung with... Money wasn't a factor at all.

Hmm...almost nobody at my school had much money, so that was almost impossible there

wow, how shallow are your shools?

I don't think they mean that kids can't be friends with kids who have more or less money than them. People get judged based on their money in general.

idk about you but most of the popular kids in my school definitely have some money.

When I was to high school I was shunned because I was from the city, and to think, I couldn't wait till I went to hike school

the best kinds of kids (money-wise) are the ones whose parents make tons and tons, but then the kid is just as determined and goes out and makes money of their own, instead of taking their parent's money.

hate to break it to you, but life isn't fair. the world judges by what we have. don't complain about not having and go out and get it for yourself.
