Is it really necessary though? The goal of Feminism is the make women and men equals. Masculinism would be the same thing, just a male version of the word.

What you're describing is basically just more active chauvenism, and it's existed long enough. Also, neither side should be allowed either of your isms - they're both hypocritical and bullshitty anyway. Why can't we all just acknowledge our various strengths and weaknesses and stop trying to label everyone as one thing or another. It's fuckin ridiculous!

Feminism is equal rights for men and women, and men can be feminist. Since there's already a word for equal rights between sexes masculism just sounds like something that would be for giving guys an advantage.

Masculism would either be fighting for equal rights, which is what feminism is, or would be fighting for men to be topdog, which they already are. So there is literally no point.
