You are confusing plastic surgery with cosmetic surgery. Plastic surgery is done for a medical basis cosmetic is purely for looks

I have a friend who has wicked bad acne scars from her early years. She wants to get rid of them so bad, she's so pretty regardless but it really stifles her self esteem. It makes me sad :(
