That's what people do when they're speaking Spanglish. In reality, -ito is a diminutive added to an already existing Spanish word that makes it smaller. So in Spanish perro means dog, and perrito means little dog or puppy.
*gags* My mind is already getting back into school mode. I don't want summer to end!

After I read this post I added "ito" to the end of every word I say. I think I am going to talk like this for the rest of the day. :)
