Just because you choose not to associate with black people doesn't mean you're racist. amirite?

The fact that you're singling out an entire race of people that you choose not to associate with isn't exactly a point in your favor.

If you purposely choose not to associate yourself with blacks, that's definitely racist. If you just happen to not have any black friends, then no, that's not racist.

If you choose to not associate yourself with someone because they're black then you are racist. If you just don't have any, then it's ok.

It's one thing if you don't hang out with them. Hey, maybe you live in a white, Asian, Hispanic, etc. part of town. It's another if you CHOOSE not to hang out with them and don't seem to have a justifiable reason. Why else would you choose not to associate with them besides racism?

I don't know about OP but the only reason i don't talk to the black kids at my school is because they are loud and obnoxious. Im friends with the nice ones, though.

I guess that's justifiable. I don't think it matters that they are black, though, just that they are loud and obnoxious. I know white kids who are like that as well.

Depends. If you don't just because they are black, that is racist. If it is because you do not want to participate in their actions or whatever, then that is not racist. But that is the same with any race.

I don't generally associate with black people myself, but for me, it's because I can't really relate with them. I don't purposely do that, so that means I'm not going to limit myself to everyone else BESIDES black people. There are some cool kids in every race.
