+320 Girls: plastic > cardboard. amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If this is what I'm thinking, I honestly can say I've NEVER seen cardboard, but heard of them from one friend whos like the only one who owns them. I don't even think they have them mostly where I'm at. just plastic.

They're not that bad, but I've noticed the cotton is always poking out of the top. It's not like a cardboard box, they're smooth, I think they're covered in something. (I'm explaining because you said you've never seen one)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Umm.. what are you talking about here??

by Anonymous 13 years ago

tampons.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ohh... Plastic? Or is that for the applicator?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the applicator

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ohhh okay. Thanks for explaining. haha. I feel stupid now...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've never used a cardboard one. They just seem so... Uncomfortable.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I have and it's not as bad as you'd think. But I still prefer plastic.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Unless you're talking about the biodegradable cardboard ones. Then you can flush them, and I think that's less awkward than using one of those little metal containers.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I honestly thought this was a post about whether a plastic blow up doll girl is better than a cardboard cut out. Anyhow I prefer plastic applicators.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

In all honesty, I'm freaked out about both :$ WINGS FTW!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Right. Huge soggy wads of cotton between your legs are so much better than something you can't feel at all.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Hey I never said tampons weren't bad. I just prefer pads. I am just too much of a pussy to use a tampon. Lol c wat I did thur? smirk

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Same here. I've used tampons before, and they're fine once they're in, but getting them in is hell. I'd much rather use a pad.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

am i the only one seeing something wrong with this?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

God no. I've moved on to non-applicator ones, but I really don't see the point of plastic ones. They're expensive, bad for the environment, non-flushable and noisy to click. The cardboard ones are completely comfortable. If they aren't, try using a little bit of saliva/water/KY on the applicator or use a different brand - I didn't like Tampax, Lil-lets is the one for me.

Cardboard is horrible. Shoving cardboard up your vag is medieval torture. O.o

by Anonymous 12 years ago

When I went to summer camp, I had to buy tampons from the general store, and they only had oversized cardboard ones. It was freaking cruel.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What the actual fuck? Holy Amirite userbase.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I had to use my friend's cardboard once... It was awful D: hard to get in.. and pads are GROSS blerg.. >.<

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It took me a while to figure out what this was talking about.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So today I was in class when suddenly a wild period appeared. I was unprepared, so I asked a friend for something. I got a cardboard one and all I could do was laugh and think about this post.
