+471 Just because you're 16 and just got your license does not mean that you can drive, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well you can, but that doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Hear hear.

They can drive, but maybe not drive well. It's not like they hand licenses out like candy.

Getting your license actually means you can drive; so says your respected state anyways

by Anonymous 13 years ago

One still needs insurance and a car to be able to drive.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It doesn't mean that you cn't drive either.

Well, seeing as you have to have had a learners permit for at least 6 months, driven at least 50 hours plus 10 hours at night, and passed the driving test with at least an 80%, i would assume that anyone who just got their license could actually drive quite well.

oh yeah, totally they just hand out licenses. it's totally easy to get one, you don't have to pass a test or anything, they just need to take your picture, and bam! you can legally drive weather or not you've ever been in a car or not. have a Amish friend with a license

Actually, that is exactly what it means.

I'm 15, have my license but I suck at driving, which is why I'm on my learners. Because I'm learning. Some 16 year old's can drive though.
