No it's arrogant.

How is it arrogant?

I guess like the others said, it depends on the context, but I think there are better ways to show patriotism than just saying you're the best.

I think it depends on how it's said... Like, if you're going around downing other countries, saying "YEAH AMERICA IS THE BEST" in a "screw-everyone else" tone, it's arrogant. But then if you just live there and you like making yourself feel better, and you're not really super serious about it, then it's just patriotic.. But really, how is it so different than saying "My mom's spaghetti is the best!" It's your home thing. You like it.

Basically what ThisIsWhyImRite said. If you're just saying "Woo hoo, I love America, it's the best!" you aren't putting anyone down, you're just being proud of your country. But if you're saying "Screw everyone else, America is better!" then it's arrogant. However, even that can be given a pass when you're drunk at a Fourth of July party.

I think a simple "I love America" will suffice and if someone thinks "I love America" is arrogant, then they're retarded.

^^Yeah, agreed with the above. Just say that you love America, instead of saying that it's the best. No one can argue that you love America.
