Because classic rock didn't talk about drug, sex and money. Try actually listening to some rap music instead of listening half a song on the radio and declaring rap to be worse than classic rock. I like hiphop better because some artists spit out some sick rhymes.

Doesn't rock become *classic* when it's so good it's still remembered after a long time? That's kinda giving it an unfair advantage.
