People need to go see Scott Pilgrim. It's hilarious, and not making what it deserves, amirite?

Michael Cera. That's the only reason. I would love that movie if it weren't for Michael Cera.

I love Michael Cera! (:

He always plays the same role- awkward, boyish, in love with a girl WAY out of his league. It's exhausting. Yeah, I saw Juno. I know he can play that character. It's the only character he can play. He's so typecast it's practically tattooed across his forehead. You can like him all you want, that's just why I don't like him. :)

I understand your point, but in the movie he actually wasn't playing an awkward teen. He actually gets a few girls, and he's 22 I believe. (: But I can still see your point and why you don't like him
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's because this is an adaptation. Cera is still very awkward, and only gets the girls because he did in the comics.

Hmm, I suppose so.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I actually don't really like him either. Though he is conveniently Canadian, someone else should've played Scott.

Michael Cera is what made it great.

I saw the trailer and didn't like the look of it, do you think i might like it if i saw it anyway?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes you would
by Anonymous13 years ago
Saw it twice because of that fact
by Anonymous13 years ago
So did I, actually. I feel so bad for them. They make an amazing movie, and the world returns the favour by not even reimbursing them for the budget.

im gona quote something philip defranco said
"they make a movie perfect for their target audience the only problem is ,their target audience is the type of audience that doesn't pay for shit"
by Anonymous13 years ago
I definitely saw that
by Anonymous13 years ago
I saw that, too. He's too damn right about that. People need to pay for awesome shit, or they won't make any more movies like this!
by Anonymous13 years ago
They did a bad job with the trailers. I think thats why people wont see it
by Anonymous13 years ago
i thought they did a great job with the trailers. i definitely would not have wanted to see it if i didn't see the trailers.

The next time I want to ask someone else out, I'm using that Pacman line...
The comics were amazing too. I loved the sixth one.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm in lesbians with you.... hahahah I love that movie
by Anonymous13 years ago
The plot looks really stupid. Why does he have to "defeat her seven evil exes"? They can't just date? And I also don't like how they filled everything up with animation. I know that it's an adaptation from a comic, but it's still wierd.

(BreakfastFan The plot seems really stupid, I'll admit that. But if you grew up with Nintendo, you'll love it. Even if you didn't, you just have to see it to decide. And if the beginning bores you, which it does to some, DO NOT walk out until AT LEAST after the fight against Matthew.
