I don't love Taylor's music, but I love her anyway because she is a genuine sweetheart and not a skank. She is believeable and down-to-earth and I'm glad that she's not desperately trying to be "all grown up" like Miley Cyrus (even though Taylor's an adult). She's like only 2-3 years older than her, but eons more mature. Miley has LOADS of growing up to do. She's wasting her teenagehood away by trying to be an adult; she'll have plenty of time to do that later. Kudos for Taylor for being youthful.

I'm tired of the whole concept of "good girls". Much of society believes that all a girl has to do to be a good person is cover up her body and not think about sex. People should stop judging girls based solely on their sexuality pay more attention to other things like what they do to help people and how they treats others.

I wouldn't say her "good girl" image (and btw, if you actually look objectively, her dresses *are* rather short) is what's getting old - if anything it's just the fact that she doesn't seem to be growing up. All of her CDs sound pretty imterchangable to me. I heard her new single and could've sworn up and down that it was from her first album - it's all about boys and love. (And for all of the people who say they describe exactly how they feel, then you must be a pretty monotonous person.) And - because it's pretty much unavoidable - I do not think she's a good singer. In fact, I'd say she's extremely overhyped, and the way she moves around on stage makes it seem like she buys into all of that hype herself. But one good thing that I can say about her is that she seems like a genuinely nice person. If my friend's little brother had said he had a crush on Taylor Swift instead of his actual crush, Miley Cyrus, I wouldn't have been so appalled.

Um... I agree that she is a good role model, but she's not the only one. Hayley Williams from Paramore is also a good role model and not all of her songs are about boys and love which is very refreshing.
